FPAV engine is bundled in Mailspect MPP 5.17.7 packages or higher. Updates are performed automatically by Mailspect mppd daemon. To enable FPAV engine, please add "fpav" value for <scan_engines> of /usr/local/MPP/mppd.conf.xml and the F-PROT update code for <scan_engine_product_id scanner="fpav"> Example:

 <scan_engines>fpav,sophos,mailshell,surbl</scan_engines>
 <scan_engine_product_id scanner="fpav">XXXXXYYYYYAAAAABBBBBCCCCCDDDDDEEEEEEEE</scan_engine_product_id>

These options can be set via Mailspect Control Panel (http://HOSTNAME:20001) in Advanced->Scanners:

1) select "FPAV" engine from "Scanners to use" drop-down

2) add F-PROT license (without dashes) in F-PROT product ID

3) click "Save and Restart Mailspect" button
